Pwll Dwfn

Pwll Dwfn, Llethryd Swallet and Tooth Cave

Access to these caves is to be granted to all bona-fide cavers. The Destination Board at SWCC HQ is to be used.

For Pwll Dwfn, parking and changing arrangements are as for Dan-yr-Ogof. No key is required.

For Llethryd Swallet, the South Wales Caving Club has an access agreement for cavers of all recognised clubs to enter. The cave is locked and the key is held at the SWCC cottage. A trip notice must be left at the SWCC when the key is picked up.
There is space for two cars to park at the top of the drive to Llethryd Barns bed & breakfast premises, walk down to the house and contact Mark or Cathi James who will then advise on the route to pass the pigs to get to the swallet.
This is a temporary access route to be used until the permanent route is established by the landowner. This notice will be up-dated when it is ready. December 2006 Bernie Woodley, Conservation Officer

Keys for Tooth Cave are available from SWCC HQ
