My Round Trip in One ~ by Arwen

On my OFD 1 round trip was me, Ellie, Dylan, Mave, my mum and my dad.

It was easy at first, because we were walking and it got a bit harder because we were crawling. It got harder and harder, and then we got our harnesses on and got on the wires. I saw golden rock it was beautiful. I thought that the wires had finished but it was just a platform of rock.

I was scared on the wires, and the ladder was very scary. We went up some big climbs, and when we got into pi chamber a bat flew right over me and my dads' heads. We waited for a long time for the rest of the people to come. In the meantime I had a mars bar.

Then we were climbing over lots of rocks and and we got into a long passage and saw some pretties. We went into a crawl it was beautiful. There were actually thousands of jewels around, it was the prettiest thing I had seen. My dad had to go flat on his tummy! It was funny. Then we got into a giant chamber and I missed the bees knees, but I don't mind because I saw it in the long common room. It was weird!

I got lowered down into the stream way, Ellie got really cold we had to go through loads of potholes, it was horrid because I fell in and got soaked. Then we had to go out the drier way because Ellie got freezing. We finally got out and we had hot chocolate and a nice hot shower at the caving club. I am going back when I am 8.
